Poker card purchase guide
Poker cards mainly come in two sizes:

"Poker" (Wide) size cards, measuring approx. 63x88 mm.

"Bridge" size cards, also called "Standard", "Regular" or "Narrow", measuring approx. 57x89 mm.
There are, however, various other card sizes available, such as:

The different processes used to manufacture the cards:
The cards are made by printing the indices, pips, etc, onto a paper backing with a protective UV coating that gives them their shine and makes them easier to handle while limiting wear and tear. The difference in quality between playing cards lies in the quality of the material used and the quality of the printing process: the basis weight for traditional or coated cards, or the medium used in the case of 100% plastic cards.
While traditional cards are much cheaper, they do not last as long as 100% plastic cards. Playing cards generally last for between 5 and 8 hours of play before they begin to deteriorate.

Our 100% plastic Cards
100% plastic cards used by casinos and games clubs are a lot more durable and offer a number of advantages, as they are:

Flexible

Hard-wearing
-
A lot harder to mark than traditional cards

Water resistant, so can be washed when they start to smudge (always use water and a mild soap; never use hot water)
